Alex is a great kid who struggles to learn because his brain just doesn’t work right. No matter how hard he tries, he can’t get it. Alex is mesmerized when a feisty speaker at a school assembly shares fun facts about the brain, how it works, and what to do when it doesn’t. My Brain is Amazing isn’t intended to cure cognitive issues but to encourage students, teachers, and parents to understand those who struggle and to discover ways to help children succeed in spite of diff-abilities.
